It is the time to revise what you have learned and see it in Getting Started With HTML Section. In this section, a complete (though basic) Web page will be presented that uses tags presented in this chapter. By examining the HTML code and looking at the previous pages, you will get a better feel for how all the elements of an HTML document come together to create the final product. Then as you progress through other chapters, we will improve and expand the page. The project that we will tackle is a computer service website. It will be an one-page site, at least for now. It’s usually a good idea to think about the goals before you get started. For now our goals are fairly simple:

  • A title or heading at the top of the page that gives the Website’s name
  • A list of services being provided and key features.
  • A brief info about the company or the people working there.
  • Mentioning about clients or experience in the field.
  • title and meta tags that describe the page.

I would like to warn you now that this page will not be finished in any sense and you would not want to put in on the Web for now! We will improve the page in later chapters

Below example uses only the tags you leaned about in this section. The result is shown in next Figure.

Out Put

Looking at this Web page, several problems are immediately visible. Here are the most obvious ones.
The text is all the same, with no differences between headings, regular text, and so on.
This white background does not look particularly attractive.
While this page is a start, it certainly can ue some improving. We will start with these improvements in the next chapter.

Summary

Welcome to Web design Practical World! You’re just getting started, but already you have learned enough HTML to create a basic Web page on your own. It would be good idea for you to try out what you have learned in this section. Go ahead and a Web page. Or, work with the page created in the Let us Revise section, making changes to the HTML and seeing what effects they have. Try out the tags for paragraphs. Lists, images, hyperlinks, and the other page elements that were covered here.
